Yesterday, a new one Mario Golf game for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite – Mario Golf: Super Rush – was revealed and now a possible new leak has revealed that a character was added that no one expected. In addition to Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Peach, Daisy, Toad, Yoshi and the other characters already revealed, it seems that players will be able to go out on the green with King Bob-omb, or at least that’s what the official website suggests of Nintendo.
According to the game’s listing on Nintendo’s website, “King Bob-omb can beat the bomb.” Now, that doesn’t absolutely confirm that the character is a playable character, but it’s what he suggests. If King Bob-omb is in the game, it will be his playable debut in the sub-series, and one of the few times it has been played.
For those who don’t know: King Bob-omb (sometimes called Big Bob-omb) debuted again Super Mario 64 to Nintendo 64 as the first fight against game bosses. Since then, it has appeared as a head-on fight in others Mario games, both main online and derivations, but has never been a playable character in anything other than Mario Kart Tour.
At the time of publication, the mention of King Bob-omb has been removed from the site and Nintendo has not commented on the apparent leak.
