Hermosillo criticizes Blue Cross directive and feels used

Mexico City /

Carlos Hermosillo continues with its criticisms and signals towards work in Blue Cross led by José Antonio Marín and Víctor Manuel Velázquez, Chairmen of the Boards of Directors and Supervisors of the Cooperative. The former player now accused them of using him to promote and thus take the reins of the celestial set.

“I’ve lived it many times with Blue Cross, About who they are, and this time I saw it more closely. When you feel with people and they give you their word, they make you go to Mexico, you talk to them and -suddenly- they don’t talk to you anymore … I understand how the threads move in our country, but now it turns out that a person who has nothing to do with football, gets involved and decides who is going, because it suits them to put a certain type of people on, ”the historic striker told El Universal.

Carlos Hermosillo he explained that he was asked for some videos to show his support and even remembered when he was in the CONADE (National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport) in 2010 with a murky term.

It should be remembered that in 2019, during the Cooperative birthday celebrations by the group, then known as a dissident, the former player was introduced as the new sporting director by Marín and Velázquez, the promise was that when they took the cement institution, Hermosillo would take that place. A video of the now commentator was circulated at the meeting, but Hermosillo merely expressed his support and did not talk about the symbolic appointment that had been made.

“They’re using people. I fell, because they reminded me of when I was in politics. I understand, and I wish them all the best. But they first came in October, November, very humble, saying, ‘Record us a video, that you and I are yourself’… They make me go to Mexico and tell me ‘ignore anything, everything stays the same’. I saw this coming. “

Thus, Hermosillo did not limit himself to criticizing the choice of Álvaro Dávila after its passage through the extinct Morelia monarchs.

“To Alvaro, respect, but they criticized Billy for winning a title in over 20 years … The same has Alvaro, a title in over 20 years.”
