Two women in Orlando, Florida, disguised themselves as seniors in a failed attempt to jump the COVID-19 vaccine line.
The couple, ages 34 and 44, were just minutes away from receiving the coronavirus on Wednesday at the Orange County Convention Center, when vaccinators detected something about their appearances.
“They came dressed as grandmothers,” Raul Pino, a Florida Department of Health health agent in Orange County, said during his weekly COVID-19 report on Thursday.
“Coats, gloves, glasses, everything,” he added.
Police found that the dates of birth that appear on the women’s IDs do not match those they had used to register for the beatings, Fox 35 Orlando reported. It is not clear if the women were disguised in a similar way when they received the first shots, if they did.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office issued rape notices of the rapes of the women, Click Orlando reported.
