Young Honduran dies after trying to generate heat during winter storm in the United States

“It went really fast and all of us who were inside the house were knocked unconscious,” he recounted Katherine Padilla, Wife of Kevin.

“It’s been about an hour since they turned it on, it started to put us to sleep and we go to bed. But then my child started crying a lot and convulsing,” he narrated with tears in his eyes as he remembered the difficult times when he thought his whole family would lose his life.

The young woman – who is pregnant – and her four-year-old son were taken to the nearest hospital, where after two days they were discharged, but they took the sad news that the leader of the household had died almost immediately after inhaling the toxic gases.
