The White House released a video this evening of U.S. President Joe Biden answering questions from users on social media. One of them included the most recurring question in recent days, when will the third stimulus check arrive?
To this question, Biden replied that this third incentive for COVID-19 could be received “as far as the House and Senate approve my legislation.”
The president added that his administration had promised Democratic and Republican citizens to carry a $ 2,000 stimulus check.
The first part of this incentive was already sent in the form of $ 600 checks and the rest is what remains to be approved.
“I think (the stimulus) has to go to people who are actually in need, these are working class people and middle class people,” Biden said.
The rest of the video addresses questions such as the acceleration of vaccine distribution, where he reiterated that the country managed to buy an additional 200 million doses to advance the effort.
