The year has been empty of red carpets and elaborate fashion shows. This, however, has not prevented some designers from showcasing their costumes, albeit on a much smaller scale. One of these is Alber Elbaz, a 59-year-old Israeli fashion designer and founder of the AZ Factory brand. Recently, their creation enjoyed a moment under the sun when pop star Selena Gomez put them in a series of photos and ‘is the first celebrity to do it !.
Stylized by Kate Young, Gomez wore the last line he debuted this season. The dresses ranged from a sculpted white dress to a pajama-style top. Previously, Elbaz was associated with Lanvin in Paris, where he served as creative director for 14 years. Speaking to Vogue, he said: “I made 10 dresses, where I used to make three, four hundred pieces. The inspiration doesn’t come from Émile Zola, it’s from me walking along the Seine, seeing people running, and thinking, how Is it that people wear these clothes all year round, but fashion has to change four times a year?
True to their words, their dresses look comfortable and mostly blah without a bit of them being discouraging. Gomez used them during the promotions of his EP in Spanish, “Revelation”. He recorded it almost entirely on Zoom. Prior to her, Taylor Swift had also shared the recording of her album “Folklore” in lockdown and collaborating virtually with artists.

The former Disney girl is working on new content, and her stylist shared a very generous look at the fashion that Gomez will have in it. Young posted three pictures on Instagram, with the singer wearing different dresses.
