Villarreal makes official the transfer of Santi Caseres, who passed through America, to Vélez

Earlier this year, Santi Caseres closed his transfer with America and his transfer to Vélez Sarfield, where he will play on loan following the agreement with Villarreal, has already been made official.

Villarreal made official this Saturday the transfer of the Argentine midfielder Santi Caseres at the Club Atlètic Vélez Sarfield in his country, A team in which he will play on loan until December.

By the end of the week the two clubs had already closed this deal, so the player had already passed the medical check-up and was waiting for the last fringes to close.

Since January 2020 he played as a transfer to the Mexican team of America, which ended his transfer earlier this year.

These pending fringes were based on the possible option of purchase on the part of the Argentine equipment, possibility that does not exist of obligatory form and the clause that Villarreal could repescar the player in the month of June of being necessary, that finally has included.

With this, Caseres will play on loan to Vélez until December 31 this year, May be recovered by Villarreal in need in June.

This is the second transfer of the Argentine player, who does not seem to enter the club’s plans, after being one of the strong bets three seasons ago.

The midfielder arrived at the Castellón team three seasons ago, paying Villarreal a transfer close to ten million euros, although after playing as a starter in the start of the 18-19 season, an injury on his knees truncated his projection, becoming a player who did not enter the plans of coach Javi Calleja in this second part of the course.

Caseres had to return to Villarreal, the club with which he has what is left of this campaign and two more seasons, but from the Spanish club it was already made clear that the only option for the footballer was to look for a way out, either as a transfer or a permanent transfer in this market.

After several options, Caseres decided to bet on the return to what was his home club, with which he will play the rest of this season.
