Pokémon Leaker throws a not-so-subtle mockery about the next game

Before Pokémon Day on February 27, a highlight Pokémon Leaker has thrown an important and not-so-subtle joke about the next one Pokémon game coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. For months and months, rumors and leaks have claimed it Pokémon fans will not get a new generation in 2021, but rather a remake of a previous generation, or more specifically, a remake of generation 4, or in other words, a remake of Diamond and Pearl Pokémon. Right now, none of these rumors and leaks have been validated or confirmed, but it seems that Nintendo and Game Freak are giving the same pair of games the same treatment they gave Ruby i Saphire a few years ago with Omega Ruby i Omega Saphire.

Adding fuel to all these speculations and expectations, outstanding Pokémon Leaker, Pokemon Center, recently not only sparked all of the above, but noted that news of the remakes will be shared before Pokemon Day on February 27th.

While this may come as a surprise to some fans, it’s not really very surprising as February 27th is a Saturday this year. And, as you know, announcements and revelations are usually made during the week instead of the weekend.

As always, grab everything with a grain of salt as it goes from speculative to official. At the time of publication, it has not been known what the Nintendo and Game Freak plans are for Pokémon this year, but that should change next week.
