Pro Football Hall celebrity Deion Sanders said that after his debut at Jackson State as a coach on Sunday that his personal belongings were stolen from the coaches ‘office during the Tigers’ victory over NAIA program Edward Waters by 53 -0, which led him to have “mixed emotions” about the day.
“On the one hand, the kids played really well,” Sanders said during his press conference after the game, a visibly annoying one, before continuing: “But as the game went on, someone came in and stole everything. I have in the coaches office. ” Credit cards, wallet, watches. Thank God I had the necklaces on. “
The school later told ESPN that Sanders’ objects were “out of place and found.”
But Sanders argued the articles were out of place in a series of tweets last Sunday, saying his assistant came to a man in the process of committing the robbery.
It was stolen, but they recovered it. My personal bag was stolen from the office and my assistant caught the gentleman in the process of stealing it, but I was alone. No communication mass, my man at all https://t.co/foXTKwqsQC

Whoever is lying that my belongings have not been stolen is LYING. My belongings were taken out of a zippered bag from my office and more items were also taken out of my office. We have recovered them since it was reported. My staff member witnessed the crime. #True

Sanders went on to say that the items have been recovered since his disappearance was reported.
Sanders, who also played in Major League Baseball, in addition to being a two-time Super Bowl champion, is the first college football coach. Previously, he was the offensive coordinator for Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas, for three seasons.
Sanders announced on his “21st and Prime” podcast in September that he would be Jackson State’s next head coach. Sunday’s Tigers game was the first in a seven-game spring calendar that runs through April. It was also Jackson State’s first closing since September 6, 2014.
Jackson State will host the next Mississippi Valley State on Saturday, kicking off the Southwest Athletic Conference season.
