Delta Airlines resumes operations today at Villeda Morales

Copa Airlines and Delta Airlines are the airlines which resumed operations this month in the Ramon Villeda Morales International Airport.

Delta Airlines will resume operations from today at the Sampedrana terminal after suspending activities in November due to the storms Eta and Iota.

Michael Wehmeyer, General Manager of Airlines Cup, Has reported that since the middle of this month the airline is already flying four times a week to and from Panama-San Pedro Sula.

He detailed that they are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

“The flight is arriving direct from Panama at 11:00 am and is departing at 12:00 a.m. Panama and connections,” Wehmeyer said.

Today the airline joins Delta Airlines with its route Atlanta, United States, and San Pedro Sula. From the Industrial Capital, passengers will board flight DL1842, which will depart at 1:15 pm and arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 05:27 am.

The flight from Atlanta to San Pedro Sula will be the DL1920, in schedule of 9: 45-00: 00 m. The hours mentioned above are local.

Leo Castelló, Holder of the Superintendence of Public-Private Partnerships (Sapp), stated earlier this month that bespoke countertops and with specifications of each airline would begin to be installed on February 22 (today), at the moment they are operating with temporary tables.

Night flights are also expected to resume in April because they have to replace some regulators scattered on the runway.

Villeda currently registers 52 international and 25 domestic flights a week.
