
Could Xenoblade Chronicles 2 finally get the hype it deserves? With just over 2 million sales worldwide since the 2017 release, we consider Breath of the Wild’s 23 million sales as a comparison, still Xenoblade’s best-selling game for about half a million.
Following the announcement that Pyra and Mythra will be added to the Super Smash Bros. list. Ultimately, people have rushed to check out the girls (or, uh, girls) in action. As a result, copies of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 are sold out on Amazon Japan and the US version of Amazon also runs out of stock.
It could be argued that this was Nintendo’s plan all along: Smash Bros. it has the power to revitalize a number of flags or draw attention to an understated one. Maybe, though, Nintendo is just setting the stage for a new Xenoblade game or a Xenoblade Chronicles X Switch port. We can wait, right?
