Apple today began offering refurbished versions of the MacBook Air M1 that was first launched in November 2020. The price of the refurbished MacBook Air models starts at $ 849, which is $ 150 cheaper than the starting price of 999 dollars for a new model.
Apple has M1 acMacBook Air models in gold, silver and spatial gray with an 8-core CPU, 7-core GPU and 8GB of RAM available for purchase, along with a $ 1,019 higher model that has 16GB of RAM.
Prices are about 15 percent lower than retail, which is standard for refurbished devices. Yesterday, Apple also began selling refurbished MacBook Pro M1 models for the first time.
Apple has limited stock and the contents of the refurbished store fluctuate depending on what people have sent to repair and replace it. Additional high-end models may be added in the future, so those looking for a specific M1 MacBook Air configuration should check it again regularly.
All refurbished Apple Macs come with the same one-year warranty that comes with a new device, along with all the manuals and accessories, including a USB-C power adapter and a USB-C cable. Refurbished devices go through a rigorous process of testing, repairs, repackaging and cleaning and are identical to new devices.
