At least 99 kilos of cocaine were confiscated in an operation by the Technical Agency for Criminal Investigation (Attic) and the Prosecutor’s Office Against Drug microtrafficking in the hidden compartment of a pick-up vehicle.
The agents of San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa moved to the Santa Bàrbara area where they followed the track to the vehicle in which they were supposed to be carrying a load of drugs.

In the middle of the operation, the Penthouse arrested the director of a high school in Santa Barbara.

Jorge Galindo, spokesman of the Penthouse, Explained that in the midst of the chase of the suspicious vehicle, the teacher was in her car and got into the other vehicles several times, so she was required to do so, “because she did not leave next to other persons required of the suspect “.
Officers were reported to have continued their work and managed to confiscate the white Mazda BT 50 pickup truck, license plates PCN 7773, and arrest the driver identified as Wilson Ariel Rodríguez Álvarez (29).
