Puerto Rican police have already closed the investigation into the death of Natural Slim creator Francisco Antonio Suárez as a suicide after a process of interviews with his relatives.
According to the investigating agent, Àngel Martínez Toro, the interviews show that Suárez showed signs of depression and was taking antidepressant medication before his death. The prescription would be for a year, because of the difficulty in falling asleep. However, according to the search the researcher on metabolism stopped ingesting the drugs for the past five months.
He added that, according to interviews with relatives, Antonio Suárez remained distant and lonely for a while, and sought help from a doctor in the United States.
The president of Natural Slim was reportedly thrown into the vacuum from the balcony of his residence during the morning of Thursday, February 25th.
Suárez’s followers demanded on social media that a deeper investigation be applied, as they are incredulous of the version of the suicide.
The author of the book “The Power of Metabolism” achieved fame with the slogan “the weight that went away forever” in more than 1,600 educational videos on how to lose weight by controlling the metabolism.
Suárez, was distinguished in the United States and Latin America. Also, he was recognized for his Youtube channel, Metabolimso TV, and for his books on diabetes.
In the first two months of the year, 10 suicides have been reported in Sant Joan among young people and adults.
