WWE, professional wrestling in general, has had several great men over the years who have overcome barriers and redefined how giant artists looked in business.
Kurt Angle worked with many physically imposing superstars during his heyday, and the Olympic gold medalist named Kane and The Undertaker the two most important great men of his career.
During the last episode of ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ on AdFreeShows, the WWE Hall of Fame talked about the match he had with Kane since 2001 during the preparation of the WWE PPV No Way Out of that year.
Kurt Angle said he had a great time working with Kane in the WWE and praised the Big Red Machine’s agility and athletic abilities.
“He was great. One of the best big guys I’ve ever worked with. He had a talent for, you know, what he did in the ring. He was amazing. Great athlete for his size.”

Angle also mentioned Kane’s kayfabe brother, Undertaker, and explained why The Brothers of Destruction were the best when it came to jobs within the ring of giant fighters. Kurt Angle revealed that both Kane and Undertaker were light and did everything they could in the ring to make their matches smoother.
Older men are famous for being hard to work with, but Kane and Undertaker were different and very competent in their craft. Angle said it was actually easy to work with Kane and Undertaker, and that’s a huge compliment to fighters as big as the Brothers of Destruction.
“He and Undertaker were the two best big guys I’ve ever entered the ring with. They weren’t heavy. They were light. They jumped for you when you gave them a suplex. They weren’t very hard to work with, they were very easy to work with, and that is, you know, a huge compliment to anyone who has that size in the business. “
Although The Undertaker officially ended his career in the WWE Survivor Series last year, Kane would follow tradition and return to the most recent men’s Royal Rumble match.
Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, is busy as mayor of Knox County, and while he may continue to appear sporadically on WWE TV, his days as an active performer ended long ago.
