PlayStation fans are upset after another PS4 game was randomly canceled before release, though this time he’s in favor of releasing the game on PS5. Since the end of last year, several PS4 games have been canceled and now the first notable cancellation of 2021 has taken place, and is courtesy of PQube Games and Dual Effect, which announced this week that’s not just the PS4 version of Tormented souls has been preserved, but also the Xbox One version.
According to the former, the cancellation is due to the fact that the couple wants to “take advantage of the new hardware and create an improved and enhanced experience to enjoy the players.” In other words, according to the couple, the cancellation is due to wanting to make use of the power offered by the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but the game still comes to the Nintendo Switch, which is technically inferior to both the PS4 as on the PS4. “As a PS4 user, I was very excited about the release of this game,” added another user. “It would be disappointing if that were true and I hope you reconsider.”
When Tormented souls Releases later this year will be available via PS5, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Despite the backlash, there have been no words to reverse the decision to cancel the PS4 and Xbox One versions. If that changes, we’ll be sure to update the story accordingly.
