IDPH reported a total of 1,856,696 cases of COVID-19, including 20,516 deaths.
On Saturday night, 1,265 patients in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of these, 303 patients were in the ICU and 150 patients with COVID-19 with ventilators.

In the last 24 hours, labs have reported testing 66,500 specimens for a total of 18,136,253 since the pandemic began.
The state’s seven-day preliminary positivity test from Feb. 21-27 is 2.4%.

A total of 2,740,105 doses of vaccine have been delivered to Illinois providers, including Chicago, with an additional 443,700 doses allocated to federal government partners for long-term care facilities, making the number total delivered in Illinois is 3,183,805.
The IDPH said vaccine distribution data are reported in real time and vaccine administrations are up to 72 hours.

IDPH reports that a total of 2,705,934 doses of vaccine have been administered, including 315,416 in long-term facilities. The average seven-day vaccine administered is 79,140.
Illinois announced that 79,266 doses of vaccine were administered Saturday.
United Center COVID vaccine site
United Center parking lots will soon be mass vaccination sites administered by the federal government, officials announced Friday.
As state vaccine supply increases, federal, state and local officials announced that a massive COVID-19 vaccination site will open at the United Center on March 10th.

FEMA and the U.S. Department of Defense will take the lead in managing the site, with a special focus on vaccinating minority populations that have been relatively slow in getting doses. Arena staff are also experienced in dealing with large crowds and traffic.
Illinois residents who are currently eligible for the vaccine from all parts of the state can come to the site. Illinois seniors 65 and older will have exclusive access to appointments first, followed by the rest of the eligible groups on the state’s immunization schedule.

Information on where and how to make appointments will be available in the coming days. Demand is expected to be high.

– Champaign County: 1 man from the 80s
– Christian County: 1 man from the 70s
– Clark County: 1 60-year-old man
– Cook County: 3 men aged 60, 1 woman aged 70, 2 men aged 70, 1 woman aged 90, 1 woman over 100 years old
– DuPage County: 1 man from the 70s, 1 woman from the 90s
– Kane County: 1 man from the 70s
– Kendall County: 1 woman aged 60 years
– Knox County: 1 man from the 90s
– Livingston County: 1 man from the 80’s
– Pulaski County: 1 woman aged 70 years
– County of St. Clair: 1 man from the 90s
– Will County: 1 man from the 90’s
– Williamson County: 1 man from the 80s
– Winnebago County: 1 man from the 80s
