In accordance with The New York Times, a lawyer named Tyrone A. Blackburn is asking the California and Georgia authorities to investigate multiple allegations of sexual abuse and assault against rapper TI and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris. Some of the complaints appeared on social media in January (via Complex), including complaints indicating that he threatened at least one gunman, with TI and Harris finally responding with a statement in which they “emphatically” denied the “terribly terrible accusations.”
Blackburn has picked up several accusations unidentified women, included What Time the report is described as “Two rape cases,” and the lawyer said the claims span more than a decade and are “extremely similar.” He says none of the women know each other, though The New York Times he says they include “a military veteran, an old friend turned assistant, an exotic dancer and an in-house teenager in the IT studio and record label, Grand Hustle.” The times spoke to five women involved who said they were “drugged, raped or sexually assaulted” by IT and Harris or by “people in their orbit,” and the newspaper also spoke to “several people” who say the accusers they explained these facts “Shortly afterwards” they allegedly happened and also “reviewed messages or photos that supported their event history”. He New York News the story contains details of all these accusations, which in fact follow a similar pattern to each other.
Meanwhile, an IT lawyer and Harris reiterate that they deny the allegations, adding that they fully expect that “no charges will be filed” if California or Georgia police decide to initiate investigations. The lawyer also says the allegations are “continuations of a sordid shakedown campaign” that began on social media and “now tries to manipulate the press and misuse the judicial system.”
