Robotech: The Macross Saga HD Edition sneaked into the Nintendo Switch online store

Anime fans will have very diverse feelings about him Robotech series; although it served as an introduction to Japanese animation for many during the 1980s, it is also seen as a carnage of famous franchises (Macross be a) which is a reminder of how the little-located anime was handled at a given time.

Whatever your opinion of the series, Robotech: The Macross Saga HD Edition just sneaked into the Australian Switch eShop. It is an update of the 2002 Game Boy Advance title of the same name, originally developed by Lucky Chicken Games and published by TDK Interactive, but with revised HD images. GPC Games makes the release this time.

Robotech: The Macross Saga was released alongside Robotech: Battlecry on PS2, GameCube and Xbox; maybe we’ll also see that the full 3D title will be updated soon? Games based on the series have not had the best luck; Robotech: Crystal Dreams was in development for the N64, but was eventually canceled.
