Authorities in the city of Jacksonville, Florida, announced yesterday, Thursday, the arrests of several men for sending stuffed bears full of cocaine between the United States and Puerto Rico.
According to the portal www.wokv.com, in an investigation together with the United States Postal Service, the Department of Homeland Security and the Puerto Rico Drug Agency, the young Yaddiel López, 24, and Cassidy Martínez -Churches tried to carry out a narcotics distribution network through the postal service.
The island’s anti-drug authorities said they first contacted JSO in January regarding a suspicious package that was to be delivered to Edgar Lopez’s residence in Jacksonville.
The said package contained a teddy bear, full of two pounds of cocaine and a tracking device.
