Midence, in his appearance, said that the Central Government has the budget for the purchases to be made directly by Health.

Honduras, he mentioned, will receive batches of vaccines from two different pharmaceuticals, as doses of COVAX will arrive in the country in the weeks of March, to immunize, initially, to 2.4 million citizens.

The government official stressed that Russia only sells them to United States at a standard price. He added that “there is no speculation with prices, that is, with the money of the Honduran people.”

Finally, he announced that Honduras will close deals with other global pharmaceutical companies in search of more batches of vaccines to immunize the population.
