Mojang announced it yesterday Minecraft Dungeons Arcade cabinets are on his way in arcades North America for limited testing, with more cabinets later this year.
Released last year on Xbox One and PC, Minecraft dungeons it is a Devil-like a tracking skull located in the blocked world of Minecraft. Up to four players can jump together and fight waves of Minecraft enemies, like skeletons, zombies, and spiders. Now there is a new one, less convenient, and onesafe-deposit box way to play Minecraft dungeons. Just go to an arcade (during a pandemic) to play the new Minecraft Dungeons Arcade game, developed by Play Mechanix and Mojang.
As explained in blog entry announcing the new arcade machine, Minecraft Dungeons Arcade will perform the action and play of the original game and simplify things a little bit to make it work better as a cooperative arcade game. Players will even win different physical operations letters that can be collected and scanned into the machine for new powers, weapons, and pets.
The cabinet also looks great and the screenshots of the game shared by Mojang are fantastic. Everything sounds good. But I can’t imagine venturing into the world right now, during the covid-19 pandemic, just to play an arcade game that other people may have been playing and playing moments before. Especially when this game is available at home and there it is fine.
G / O Media may receive a commission
Mojang stood out they only send cabinets to arches that “follow local health guidelines “to do so help curb the spread of covides and mitigate them risk. But maybe that could have waited until this summer, then there have been more people vaccinated?
