FMLN members reported yesterday to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the Office for the Defense of Human Rights (PDDH) an alleged “communicator” of government radio for persecution, harassment and expressions of violence against women , who was identified as Roberto Silva.
The defendant, along with other people carrying credentials issued by the Supreme Electoral Court (TSE) as members of Radio El Salvador, entered the hotel where the final scrutiny takes place while following the former ephemelenist candidate Daniela Genovez , as seen in a video on de la Silva’s Youtube channel.

The alleged communicator, who on his Youtube channel shares extensive information in favor of Nayib Bukele, made a live broadcast of this moment in which he claims Genovez for allegedly insulting other colleagues, which is not s listen to this recording.
In the video he is seen following the efemelenista to the premises assigned to the FMLN inside the hotel and he is heard saying, “why is he running away cowardly”. Genovez closes the door.
A police officer confronted them for being in a restricted area, but they threatened him saying, “Now we will shoot the higher authority.”

FMLN MP Yancy Urbina described these incidents as actions of “political violence” and confirmed the complaint they made.
“On the same day, comrade Daniela and several party representatives presented something to the FGR and also to the Human Rights Attorney’s Office. In fact, I would understand that this has already happened because what has happened is a violent aggression. against the partner, political violence, “he said.
For her part, MP Karina Sosa stated that they are taking these actions with the aim of provoking them, but that they will not fall into this.

“They have sent provocation, we will not fall into provocation, but we will not let them attack our colleagues and we will take action on the matter,” he said.
After the incident, Genovez noted: “I told the police that he is in flagrante delicto for violating Article 55 of the Comprehensive Specialized Law for a Life Free of Violence for Women (leiv) by expressions of violence against women; the police did not want to act, they did not stop him at the time even though he was following me, he even wanted to enter our premises by force, he nodded in a private space.
He added that the alleged communicator “since yesterday (Friday) has been following me and insulting me.”
