Believe it or not, but former Chicago Bears quarterback Chase Daniel is becoming a hot commodity as the 2021 NFL free agency period is about to begin.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, teams are asking the Lions about a possible trade for Daniel, who has served as one of the league’s most respected backups since he began his career in 2010.
If we try to combine the puzzle here, it is reasonable to assume that teams like the Jaguars and Jets, who are both expected to draft a quarterback in the first round, may be part of the group of organizations asking about Daniel. The Eagles, a team Daniel spent the 2016 season with, could also be interested in a reunion. Jalen Hurts is entering his second season and with the sixth overall team that can be a quarterback, Philadelphia needs a veteran in the locker room who can help the youngsters.
Daniel’s career has not been remarkable. He has pitched 1,694 yards, eight touchdowns and seven touchdowns – throughout his career – but has earned more than $ 38 million in professional earnings.
Congratulations to Daniel for overcoming the system.
