SAINT ANTHONY – The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District announced that 10,000 COVID-19 vaccine appointments will open Monday evening.
Health officials made the announcement Sunday and said 10,000 Pfizer vaccine appointments per first dose will be available starting at 6 p.m., Monday, on Metro Health’s COVID-19 vaccine registration website.
Residents without Internet access can call 311 and select option 8 for help with registration.
Currently, people in the Phase 1A and Phase 1B categories are eligible for the vaccine, as well as teachers and school and child care staff.
Phase 1A includes front-line health workers and long-term caregivers and Phase 1B includes people over the age of 65 or anyone aged 16 and over with a chronic illness that puts them at greater risk for illness. serious derivatives of COVID-19.
