Both Nairo and Egan were attentive to the movements at the end of the day, which was the first encounter with the mountain at the finish line, although the differences were not as significant.

As always, the getaway was the order of the day and they got into it Simon Pellaud, Burghardt, Albanese, Archibald, Velasco and Vanspeybrouck, who managed to overcome the four minutes difference on the batch of Van Aert.
