“They will address travel, they will address jobs, they will target houses of worship,” Fauci said of the upcoming recommendations. “You’ll see it come out pretty fast.”

“You’ll see it very soon,” he added.

Fauci’s statements come as some states have already begun lifting coronavirus restrictions amid a nationwide decline in cases, hospitalizations and deaths, as well as an increase in vaccinations. Some states, including Texas, have moved in recent days to significantly increase the pace of public life, lifting all coronavirus restrictions, including mask warrants and allowing food at full capacity.

However, Biden and Fauci have warned that lifting restrictions before vaccinating enough people could reverse progress after the United States came out of what the president has called a “dark winter.”

According to the CDC website, more than 90 million people in the U.S. have received vaccines.

During his first primary care schedule intervention on Thursday night, Biden promoted the administration’s efforts to increase the distribution of vaccines, including a call to the country for all adults to be eligible for the vaccine on 1 of May.

The president also alluded to the CDC’s upcoming guide for vaccinated Americans.

“In the coming weeks, we will be posting more guidelines on what you can and can’t do once fully vaccinated to reduce confusion, to keep people safe, and to encourage more people to get vaccinated,” he said.

Biden said if people stay vigilant and get vaccinated, Americans will be able to gather in small groups before July 4th.

“That doesn’t mean big events with a lot of people together, but it does mean that small groups will be able to come together,” he continued.
