With the arrival of Call of DutyIn the second season of February 25, zombies were the protagonists of the story. Black Ops Cold War I have a great Zombies Outbreak mode, i War zoneThe map of Verdansk has a ship full of undead. War zone it is slowly becoming infected by the undead and will lead to a new mode or potential map.

When the cargo ship Vodianoy crashed on the shores of Verdansk two weeks ago, it was pretty clear that some of the zombies on board were coming off. Yesterday’s update spreads the infection across the southeastern part of the map to the location of Verdansk Prison. The zombie infection did not spread as most would expect, with the rest of the ship as an infected area.. Instead, the undead abandoned the Vodianoy ship and have now set up camp in prison.

Zombies can be unleashed in prison in the same way as in the Vodianoy wreck, activating a machine to start a zombie killing event. Killing a specific number of zombies will allow you to access a special chest with objects such as high-level weapons and a gas mask. But it’s very likely that these zombie infestations are more than just scoring a few computers.

There is a possibility that this will only trigger a new Zombies mode War zone. But this spread of the undead is being greatly mocked by War zone developers Raven software and the Call of Duty block, which makes it easy to assume that something big is about to arrive in Verdansk.

Part of yesterday block states that “immediate exfil and subsequent fumigation is recommended.” Plus, there have been some rumors of a “plague” mode anant a War zone, which would require surviving a zombie outbreak and the exfiltration of the map, or a core would end the game.

Some players speculate that this will lead to an uncontrollable outbreak that will wipe out the entire map of Verdansk to contain the spread, thus finally ushering in a Cold War era. War zone map. This theory relates very well to War zoneconstantly reminds that Verdansk is sitting on a pile of nuclear warheads. Nuclear bunkers continue to open their doors and make fun of these warheads, so perhaps zombies are the imminent threat to detonate all these nuclear weapons.

The map of Verdansk never lived up to its full potential and the landscape updates have been sparse, but I still enjoyed my time there. I have many memories of cheating with friends, like War zone it was a big distraction during unusual times last year. That said, I’m all about attacking him and starting all over again. A zombie outbreak could be a fun way to send Verdansk, but I doubt this event will be the satisfying end that many expect.

My biggest concern is that all of this accumulated for a Zombie event will happen at a bewildering, corpse-like pace. Teasers from last year until War zone‘s “Know your story” the live event lasted for weeks. I was a big fan of community involvement with teasers and Easter egg puzzles in the game, but if you drag something long enough, you’ll lose some of your excitement.

The weekly is possible War zone the updates will infect a different location each time, and this will be more or less the same until we finally get to the end of the second season. The season is just around the corner, it will probably end towards the end of April, so we have a long way to go until the end that the developers are preparing.

I would love to see Raven Software really augment this infection process and give us a full map of zombie infestation with some interesting modes and twists. Maybe add some of the big “elite” zombies you find Cold WarZombie mode, or include some mini Easter eggs to solve. We’ll see what happens next.
