Video shows Chick-fil-A quick-thinking customer help cops catch a suspect escaping

A customer waiting for a chick-fil-a drive-thru is praised for his quick thinking after helping a police officer catch a suspect chasing him.

The incident occurred Wednesday in Jacksonville, Texas, when the man was waiting in line for his chicken sandwich, according to KLTV.

Jacksonville police say officers were chasing a suspect who was said to be driving a stolen vehicle and had jumped out of the car to flee police.

When the suspect tried to run between the car line through the restaurant parking lot, the customer waited until just in time to open the truck door to the suspect.

An agent threw himself at the man after he fell to the ground and the client can be seen further assisting the agent while making the arrest.

“A hungry customer, who was patiently waiting for his chicken sandwich, used his door to stop the suspect. The suspect was quickly arrested after the” HANGRY “(but helpful) citizen reminded him of the reason why you should never to flee from the police, “the Jacksonville Police Department wrote on its Facebook page with a video of the incident.

Police did not say whether the suspect faced any charges of arrest.

The video caught a lot of attention, with over a thousand comments and nearly ten thousand shared resources on Facebook alone and many more on Twitter.
