President Hernández: ‘Go out to vote with enthusiasm’

The President of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández, Motivated this Saturday, through Twitter, For Hondurans to go to the polls this Sunday for internal elections in the country and “enthusiastically choose your favorite candidates“.



The president, less than 24 hours that political parties know their candidates in the run-up to the November 2021 general election, called on the people to vote, “even if there are adversities, economic and health problems“.

In a video posted on the official social media accounts of the ruler and presidential institutions, Hernandez he said: “We are now heading for a new election party which is the primary election this March 14 and a general election in November.”



He continued: “Both will be democratic holidays, where Hondurans will continue to set an example that even if there are adversity, economic and health problems, we will always emerge as a civilized nation and respectful of the right to choose and be elected freely.”

Hernandez he stressed that Hondurans must choose their pre-candidates for preferred mayoralties, deputations and presidency and has stated that it is an “electoral party”.

Similarly, he also mentioned that the Central Government and its institutions have supported and assisted the process on behalf of its conduct and will continue to await all details alluding to the internal elections.

“We are exercising our right and we are proud of the Honduran democratic party. We all go out to vote because this is how democracy is built; this is how a homeland is made,” he concluded.
