Man accused of altering the flight by not wearing a mask, urinating in the cabin

A Colorado man faces federal charges after he allegedly refused to wear a mask while on board an Alaska Airlines flight and urinated in the cockpit during an interaction with airline employees, according to a new report.

Police say Landon Grier, 24, of Canon City, struck up a flight attendant who asked her to wear a mask while trying to sleep on the Seattle to Denver flight, according to the Associated Press.

The FAA requires that all domestic passengers traveling on U.S. aircraft wear facial covers at all times while traveling.

Later, another passenger called flight attendants in the Grier cabin area because he was urinating in the seat.

Grier reportedly admitted to drinking before boarding the plane and told FBI investigators that he “woke up for flight attendants to call him peeing.”

“He stated that he did not remember hitting the flight attendant and did not know if he was peeing,” police said in an incident report.
