Trump believes Meghan Markle is not “good” after Oprah’s interview

Former President Donald Trump thought Meghan Markle was not “good” after her interview with Oprah Winfrey, but did not want to say so publicly for fear of being “canceled” like Piers Morgan, a exconseller.

Former Trump adviser Jason Miller shared what he said the former commander-in-chief was thinking about the summary of Markle and Prince Harry during an appearance Wednesday on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast.

“She’s not good … I said it and now everyone sees it,” Miller said, Trump told her.

Apparently, the former president told Miller he could “give a little news” to the podcast by sharing his reaction to the positioning, though he also noted that it might not be the best idea.

“You realize that if you say something negative about Meghan Markle you get fired, look at Piers (Morgan),” Trump said, according to Miller.

Trump also reportedly said “I’m on Team Piers,” after the former “Good Morning Britain” host left the show on Tuesday after an air showdown with a co-star who left him criticize for “destroying” the Duchess of Sussex.

Morgan, who had accused Markle of exaggerating claims about suicidal thoughts and racism in the royal family, said he lost his job because he refused to apologize for his comments.

British regulator Ofcom said it received more than 41,000 complaints about Morgan’s comments, including those from Markle herself.

“Piers Morgan is the best, he’s the greatest, and they went and tried to cancel him simply because he criticized Meghan Markle,” Miller said.

It’s not the first time Trump has argued with Markle.

After the former actress was described to Trump as a “misogynist” and “divisor,” before the 2016 election, she responded that she “didn’t know it was nasty.”

Trump later clarified that he meant the comments were unpleasant.

During a White House press conference in September, the then president also said she was “not a fan” of Markle, after she and her husband Harry implicitly endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.

“And I would say that, and you’ve probably heard it, but I wish Harry good luck, because he’s going to need it,” Trump added at the time.
