The great Mexican champion Julio César Chávez will return to the ring next June 19th.
Chavez (107-6-2. 85 KOs) will put on gloves again for an exhibition fight against Hector ‘Machito’ Camacho Jr. in the Jalisco Stage, in a fight that will be tribute for the dead Hector ‘Male’ Camacho.
Camacho had a great rivalry with Chavez and they faced off on September 12, 1992 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas with victory for the Mexican by unanimous decision. Camacho died of a cardiac arrest in November 2012.
