The raiders sign Yannick Ngakoue’s Pro Bowl

After almost changing for him several times in recent years, the Raiders have finally acquired Yannick Ngakoue. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Raiders were hoping to sign the veteran countercurrent during free time.

Ngakoue has been one of the most productive passing runners in the league in the last four seasons, totaling 45.5 sacks for three different teams. The best season of his career came in 2017 when he added 12 sacks and six holes with the Jaguars.

Now it will start in the defensive end for the Raiders, probably Maxx Crosby and Clelin Ferrell will compete for the other starting spot. Finally, the team has added a proven track record to match their young selections from the 2019 draft.

At just 25, Ngakoue is still in the early stages of his career and played his best football under Gus Bradley in Jacksonville. Needless to say, this is a great move by Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden trying to fix their passing pass.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Ngakoue has a two-year deal worth up to $ 26 million. Although the exact terms of the deal are not yet known, it appears to be a robbery for a Pro Bowl level runner.
