In a few days, Animal Crossing: New Horizons turns one year old. We would never have been able to imagine the success of the title at the time, although here we are talking, without a doubt, about the most important game of 2020. What a ride it has been so far!
There is still more to come. With this first anniversary just around the corner, Nintendo has detailed plans for the next game update. The update takes place on March 18 and is important:
- 1st birthday cake – Nook Inc. made a 1c Birthday cake to commemorate the occasion. It will be sent to the game mailbox after the update is installed.
- Sanrio Sweetness – Add some Sanrio sweetness to your island. Starting March 26, the Animal Crossing Sanrio collaboration package will be available for purchase at U.S. Target stores at a suggested retail price of $ 5.99. You will be able to use these six vibrantly designed amiibo cards to invite them cute and colorful No animals residents inspired by the popular Sanrio characters on your island, including Rita, Chai and Toby. These amiibo cards also allow you to exchange bells for special Sanrio-themed furniture and fashion items. You can even invite these characters to Harv Island for a fun photo shoot at Photopia.
- Custom Design Pro Editor + – The NookPhone custom design app is updated. Use your Nook miles at the Resident Services Nook stop to unlock the feature. It will provide a more robust set of features, which will allow you to customize umbrellas, small flags, uchiwa and photo frames. And with a new expansion of 50 slots added to both regular custom design mode and Pro custom design mode, you can really let your imagination run wild.
- Custom design portal – You can now add the Custom Design Portal found in the Able Sisters store directly to your NookPhone game app. You can use it at any time that inspires you.
- Seasonal items – Spring is in the air and, with the change of seasons, a series of new seasonal items arrives. Just in time for April Fool’s Day, a variety of whoopee pillow colors can be ordered between March 26 and April 1 at the game’s Nook Shopping service. For something a little more stylish, you can prepare for the dance season with themed fashion items at the Able Sisters store from April 1st to April 30th.
