According to John Lund of KNBR, teammate Greg Papa reports that the San Francisco 49ers have a four-year, $ 80 million deal on the table for offensive attack Trent Williams. Still, the father speculates that that amount may not be enough to hold the eight-time Pro Bowler. According to reports, the game-by-game radio announcer states that the team will likely have to increase the bid to retain the player.

Williams is expected to be a big draw for free agencies. NFL Network reported this morning that the linear offensive was not even present for the free agency start. He was on vacation in Mexico, but has since returned.

San Francisco switched to Williams last year during the draft. After spending a year out of football, he replaced a Joe Staley who was retiring in the left goal. Williams had an excellent season and was the first football team in Pro Football Focus and the second highest offensive line player.

Williams turns 33 in July, but hopes to play many more years.

“I’m definitely ready for another, in my opinion, six seasons that I can play at a high level,” Williams said recently The Cris Collinsworth Podcast while talking to teammate Richard Sherman. “That’s how I look at it.”
