The surprising death of the actor and director Albert Rodríguez, served to file rough edges of the past between televisions and so his talents could unite to celebrate the life and legacy of his partner, last night a special The Remix, by Wapa.
The actor of cinema, theater and television, was key with his personages in the mentioned program produced by Emmanuel “Sunshine” Logroño, with that Rodriguez worked by more than 25 years in the station of Guaynabo.
The Remix began with the comedy Before and After, by the couple characterized by Rodríguez and Marian Pabón. Followed by a loud applause. Then they continued to intersperse key sketches with the anecdotes of those present with the finite artist.
“Let’s do a different Remix, let’s celebrate the life of our brother Albert,” Logroño indicated at the start of the space.
The production was attended by almost thirty of his colleagues, including past talents from Logroño productions such as René Monclova and Jorge Castro, who now work on Raymond and his friends, Telemundo. Also present were Suzette Baco and Cristina Soler.
“He was terrible, I think the devil lived in him. Albert was a unique and very special person, we traveled a lot (with Jorge) and I have a thousand anecdotes,” Baco said unleashing laughter from everyone in the set.

For his part, Soler abounded on what it meant to return to Wapa TV, after so many years and under these circumstances.
“When they give us the news of what had happened, this is such a shocking shock, that one truly has no other considerations than to be united. Most of the memories I have of this place are good. There comes a time when one says: already “We are here celebrating the life of someone, who we have not yet realized what has happened. For my part, it is a celebration and a reminder that we must love each other,” Soler told The spokesman.

Apart from the current cast of the Remix: Kiko Núñez, Francis Roses, Fernand Miranda, Barry Roses, Wanda Sais, Luis Galán, Luis Ponce and Mara Vélez. The latter two recommended by Rodriguez.

Rodriguez died at age 58 on March 15 from natural causes, at his residence in Bayamón. By the protocols of the covid-19 its vigil will be deprived today in the Theater Braulio Castle, in Bayamón; he will continue on Friday at Jalvin Funeral Home in Añasco, where he will be buried Saturday alongside his parents.
