* Update: The Houston restaurant was scheduled to begin serving its famous turkey legs and cajun bowls at 11 a.m. Friday in Fort Worth; car lines began to form around nine in the morning and at 11 in the morning, organizers said there were 1,000 cars in line.
Turkey Leg Hut, a Houston-based company that has been developing wild tracking since its inception more than five years ago, arrives in Dallas-Fort Worth.
A food truck will park at The Potter’s House in Fort Worth from 11 a.m. to midnight on March 19, 20 and 21. Guests can buy stuffed turkey legs and Cajun bowls. (Note that the Potter’s House has many campuses. This event is held at Fort Worth Church.)
A spokeswoman says this is the first time Turkey Leg Hut has served food to the public in Dallas-Fort Worth.
“People ask when we get to this area all the time on social media,” Nakia Price, co-founder of Turkey Leg Hut, says in a statement. “We are thrilled to be able to share a taste of our exclusive menu with the Dallas-Fort Worth community and are very grateful to The Potter’s House for hosting us over the weekend.”
