A minor league player from the Chicago Cubs system was arrested in Colorado after police discovered 21 pounds of methamphetamine and more than a pound of Oxycodone pills in a Cubs bed bag in his car.
Jesus Camargo Corrales, a 25-year-old Single-A pitcher, was arrested Wednesday in Eagle County, Colorado, for four drug offenses for possession and distribution, according to the WGN-Chicago website.
According to MILB.com, police fired over the pitcher, who is a professional of Jesus Camargo, after witnessing the silver BMW driving adrift on lanes and speeding on Interstate 70.
