Is Fortnite Season 6 recovering the classic map? Well, a handful of leaks and observations possibly suggest so many, or at least suggest that the game may return to the map prior to Chapter 2. For starters, there have been many theories and speculations in recent months that suggest this is exactly the case. what Epic Games is working on. It remains to be seen if any of these theories or any of these speculations have any merit, but they are reinforced by the occasional rumors or leaks that suggest so many things, and of course fans have longed to return to an older form of the map during quite a while.
Since season 6 was released this month, data researchers have discovered two things added to the game’s files: dinosaurs and meteors. The fact that dinosaurs and meteors appear at the same time certainly seems to suggest some sort of extinction event, although leaks sometimes make the events sound more exciting than they end up being.
Many theories that turn the Fortnite the community theorizes that dinosaurs will be added to the map and then erased with some sort of asteroid event. That said, while leaks point to this as a possibility, they have not confirmed anything.
Of course, if there is any kind of asteroid extinction / event, it is reasonable to think that it could lead to the destruction of the current map, which paves the way for a new map. In addition, the recent season 6 movie trailer includes a pre-chapter 2 location, Happy Hamlet, which debuted in season 7 as a replacement for Flush Factory.
Now, there’s nothing in the trailer that confirms it’s Happy Helmet, but it’s unclear what else it could be. That said, it’s unclear why Happy Hamlet would be in the trailer unless you’re testing a map prior to Chapter 2. The only explanation is that the trailer map is for film purposes only, and therefore everything in seeing is irrelevant, which is certainly possible, but not so exciting.
