Destiny 2
Bungie
We’ve spent half the season of the Destiny 2 picks, which I think you could argue with I could be the best season of Destiny 2 so far, but I will have this debate another day. For now, I wanted to focus on what’s left to come this season based on what we do to know it still arrives, and what we can assume could be.
The roadmap is getting rather sparse, but I get the feeling that more is planned than we are seeing right now.

On the roadmap
Proof of strike reason (March 23): This is a significant addition to the game as much as a completely new strike, which joins the repeated Cosmodrome that arrived this season, but also because it seems to be the culmination of the story of Caiatl where we we face their champion. it tries that the Cabal bends to our will. I guess we’ll go on strike this coming week as part of the Battlegrounds story, and then we’ll get a scene from Caiatl’s “It’s Good to Win,” which may mark the beginning of a real alliance with her.
Guardian Games (April 20 – May 9) – Guardian Games is still a month away, but we already know at least some of them. This time you will have to commit to a class for the event instead of playing on the field with all three, and we know that the activity consists of playlist attacks with special modifiers depending on the class you do. Heir Apparent is back now with a catalyst, and while “new exotic equipment” is promised, they may be exotic cosmetics. One thing that makes me curious is the segment of the “closing ceremony” from May 7-9, which should be the end of the season, something we didn’t see last time. I wonder if there will be any development of the story during this period and if we could end up with a live event this time.

Off the roadmap
Just Glykon? – This is something that makes me curious. Although the mission dialogue is now repeated after three weeks, we are supposed to be running it several more times to finalize the complete knowledge book and open all the secret rooms. I wonder if the datapad in the final room might unlock … something more special. A room with the Crown of Pain and perhaps where Calus himself is hiding. It looks like Caiatl is on the ship somewhere and I hope this has a real resolution on the road.
Exotic hammer? – Yes, I will go back to my personal theory of having an exotic third this season, as two seem a little clear about the importance of the rest of this season and I maintain that we may get the real exotic weapon when all this is over, the first non-sword that is not a battle ax of Saladin (which was not a real piece of gear). Again, just my theory, but I wouldn’t be surprised if another exotic secret was lurking in addition to Dead Man’s Tale before we got to the end of the season.
Crow Reveal? – I maintain that we are on the way to Corb becoming the vanguard of the hunter with all his recent service to the cause, and now he has the task of being the bodyguard of Zavala. I don’t know if it will be Vanguard at the end of the season here (probably not), but it sure seems like it’s time for everyone to find out that Crow is Uldren and its historical implications. Who will accept him as a new person? Who won’t?
Extended Battlegrounds Mission? – I wonder if after this week’s strike, the Battlegrounds mission will simply end or not. There may be even more content in Caiatl’s story in the final month of the season and that while the strike is a “moment,” it is not the end. So maybe we’ll still have a weekly research with developments of the story every week, even after, I’m not sure.
Anyway, these are my opinions on what’s to come. I would also like to hear your own theories.
