When it comes to third-party games on Nintendo Switch, many companies turn to support studios or specialists like Panic Button to make the effort. We recently saw it with the title Respawn Entertainment, Apex Legends.
With the next version Pro Skater 1 + 2 by Tony Hawk , Activision has confirmed with Polygon that the original developer of the game Vicarious Visions will be responsible for the Nintendo version, although it is now merging with Blizzard:
“Asked about the developer handling these ports, Activision told Polygon that original developer Vicarious Visions was on the case, although Activision Blizzard recently merged the studio with Blizzard Entertainment.”
Variations Variables worked on previously Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, But Spyro Reignited Trilogy Developer Toys for Bob managed the release of Switch. Vicarious Visions is also helping Blizzard with its upcoming remake, Devil II: resurrected, which hits the Switch and several platforms sometime later this year.
In somewhat related news, Tony Hawk pulled out his “last” Ollie 540 earlier this week. He is now 52 years old. He did this same trick for the first time 32 years ago. You can check it out on his official Twitter account.
Glad to know that the original developer of Tony Hawk’s Pro + Skater 1 + 2 remaster is working on the Switch version? Will you add this game to your own collection when it arrives? Drop a comment below.
