Senators from various parties signed a document on Thursday expressing their support for life in all its stages.
The letter, headed by Ramon Rogelio Genao, senator for the province of La Vega for the Christian Social Reform Party (PRSC), also has in the final part the announcement of Senator Hector Acosta, “El Torito”, who in days gone by tweeted in favor of the three causals.

In a telephone conversation with Listín Diari, El Torito stated that with the video he later posted apologizing for his words, he showed his support for the position of preserving life in all circumstances.
He has indicated that no one induced him to change his mind, and that rather in the shared video he was rethinking his position.
The document motivated by Rogelio Genao states that “We senators elected by the vote of the Dominican people, belonging to different political parties represented in the National Congress that make up the party system of the Dominican Republic. Convinced that human life is a fundamental right , inalienable and universal which is ratified and constitutionally recognized in Article 37 of the Constitution of the Republic, we set out this manifesto to reaffirm with our vote, the commitment to human life in all its stages. “
The document is signed by Rogelio Genao and Héctor Acosta of the senators, Milciades Franjul, Dionis Sánchez, David Sosa, Félix Baptista, Antonio Mart, Virgili Cedano, Lia Díaz, Eddy Nolasc, José Antonio Castillo, Alexis Victoria Yeb, Cristóbal Castell , Ricardo of the Saints, Iván Jose Whistles and Valentin Medrano.
