The Second Court of the National District Instruction postponed for next April 29, for the second time, the preliminary hearing known to the insiders in the network led by César Emilio Peralta (César El Abusador), who is being held in prison in Colombia awaiting extradition to the United States.
Magistrate Patricia Padilla made the decision, in response to a request from the bar of the defense of the inserts, those who allege not having studied in depth the file presented last December by the Specialized Attorney General’s Office for Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, against the group.
By virtue of the fact that the Public Ministry involves about 43 natural and legal persons in the case, due to space, the court holds the preliminary hearing in the Augusta room of the old building of the Supreme Court of Justice, in the Center of the Heroes.
For his part, the head of the Specialized Anti-Money Laundering Attorney’s Office, Luis González, he said the prosecution has a very strong indictment against those involved in the network.
“As we have said before, the evidence of the Public Prosecutor’s Office is sufficient and conclusive against each of the accused,” the representative of the Public Prosecutor’s Office emphasized.
According to the indictment, among the new defendants are Melchor Antonio Alcántara Damirón, construction entrepreneur; Genres Daniel Santana Badia, Jhonan Alexander Ureña Martínez, Biancis Evangeline Castellanos Miranda, Reynaldo Alberto Canela and Ramon Reinardo Guerra Molina.
In the first stage of the trial, César Emilio Peralta’s wife, Marisol Franco, had been charged; José Bernabé Quiterio (El Niño), Manuel Sánchez Pérez (Pupil), Johanny Paniagua, Yadher Rafael Vásquez Araujo (Jake Mate) and Edward Patricio Montero Cabral (El sabata).
Also, Alan Gilberto Good Alcéquiez (Alan Dollar), Rafael Kings, Rodolfo Cedeño Ureña (the commander), Heriberto de la Cruz Perez (Erick Aqua), Lidio Rock Speck, Jeifry of the Gautier Rosary, Jose Tapia Perez (Black Ball), Baltazar table (The Teacher) and Sergio Go’mez Diaz. The network was dismantled in August 2019, after an investigation of almost three years, while Caesar the Abuser was arrested in December this year in Colombia, where he is awaiting extradition to the United States, where he will face charges for drug trafficking.
