I don’t think anyone, not even hard Melty Blood fans, hoped there would be a new game on the horizon, let alone one that would be released worldwide. It is not known if Write Light it will meet the high expectations of its predecessors, but its mere existence demonstrates how quickly the presence of the fighting game genre has grown in a few years.
