Four years after leaving Hispanic television, Bermudo gave an exclusive interview to Rodner Figueroa for the show In bright red (Telemundo). He hinted that he felt it “Betrayed” by several co-workers.

“God always has great purposes, [pero] we don’t see them right now, I didn’t see him at the time because it made me angry, it gave me a little sadness, frustration. And the connection with the audience mostly because all of a sudden it was a very abrupt change for them and they never talked about the real reason, but that was already a thing of the past, forgive people and move on with the my life, “said the Cuban-born driver, who was born in Puerto Rico.

People review in Espanyol, which Bermudo, who has more than a million and a half followers on Instagram, first recognized in front of the television cameras that he came to adopt a very drastic attitude when it happened that of his dismissal, until to the point of not wanting to talk to his ex-partners.

“I was upset at the time and because I saw everyone guilty,” he admitted. “It was a human reaction and little by little when I was understanding and seeing how my life was evolving I realized [de que] why am I going to disappear so from the lives of so many people if they are not to blame. Today I talk to many ex-colleagues, they are my friends, they were the ones who stayed here even though I hung up the phone […]”.

Bermudo says he already forgave everyone and sees things from a very different perspective.

“I learned so many things, but I thanked God, because sometimes we don’t understand the changes that happen in our lives, maybe we see it as a negative thing, but the change comes back for good, and that was the change that I I needed to see my daughters grow up, ”Bermudo revealed visibly sad.

He said that other doors have been opened to him and he has received proposals to return to television, even in the Anglo-Saxon market, and it has led to moving city (New York, California), so he has seriously considered taking the decision.

Instead, he has worked outside the media and said that he has formed three companies, where his name is not implicit, but that it has given him a lot of satisfaction.

Barbara Bermudo misses television, but feels comfortable with her daily life. “Yes the weird one, but the most important thing that is the connection with the audience is there on social media,” he replied.

“I don’t change for anyone right now. I’m the happiest woman in the world, especially because I have my husband back home. We’re living some scary days that I don’t wish on anyone for the coronavirus and I think it’s a life opportunity that God has given us food for thought, so I think it’s a very well-learned lesson […]”, He added.

The journalist also spoke about the hard battle against the VOCID-19 of her husband, the Colombian journalist Mario Andrés Moreno, with whom she has been married since 2008.

Mario Andrés claimed that if he had stayed home 10 more hours and had not rushed to a hospital, he would probably be dead.

Many wonder if Bermudo would return to television soon, already Telemundo, the channel where he gave the exclusive.
