In the next Liberal Party convention, The party bases will demand the expulsion of the presidential candidate, Luis Zelaya, and other members of the Recover Honduras movement, as reported by the leader of this political institute, Victor Cubas.
“In the first place it is a betrayal, what they have done to the party of being promoting candidacies of other political institutions. Liberalism is outraged across the country, yesterday I received countless calls from all departments, from the leadership condemning this Luis Zelaya’s attitude of being dividing more in the match, ”Cubas noted.
He has assured that in the next Liberal Party convention to be held in April, they are going to demand that Luis Zelaya and other close members accompanying him be expelled for being “traitors” to liberalism.
Cubas also stated that they will demand expulsion Eduardo Martell, Who won the candidacy for mayor of Tegucigalpa, At the time he said he will be replaced to promote division within the party.
“They have been promoting Salvador Nasralla for four years and this is causal enough to dismiss them and for them to leave at once and stop hurting the institution,” the grassroots leader pointed out.
Finally, Víctor Cubas argued that the next actions to be taken within liberalism are covered by the statutes of the Liberal Party. Zelaya will also be held accountable for the political debt money received by the CCEPL.
