A new rumor regarding the release of The Elder Scrolls 6 on PC, Xbox Series X, and possibly PS5 has been making the rounds to stream a big game change, or at least a gameplay addition that could fundamentally change the series. It’s been almost three years since Bethesda announced it The Elder Scrolls 6. Normally, a game comes out three years after its revelation or at least prepares for release. This is not the case The Elder Scrolls 6. Not only will it not be released soon, but we don’t know anything about it. In three years, Bethesda has said absolutely zero about the game, at least as a result. What we have had are many rumors about this information gap.
The most recent is the path of a leaker who, despite having an inconsistent track record, draws attention with every statement they make. The last thing they have done is about He Elder Scrolls 6, who claim that they will introduce survival mechanics into the series, presumably similar to that of Fallout 76, as it is the same study. Of course, depending on the depth and essence of these mechanics, they could result in a big game changer.
The leaker also conveys the word “a new creative system for implementing and crafting new spells and magical abilities” that are “different Skyrim and previous games “.
Unfortunately, this is where the rumor ends. We don’t know a release date or anything super juicy, but that could explain, at least in part, why the game takes so long. Bethesda is not only working with a new engine, but if it introduces new mechanics and expands to pre-existing ones that will take time, especially if most of the studio is working Starfield.
All this, be sure to bring it all with a large grain of salt. As alluded to, the leaker in question has a history that includes both accurate leaks and rumors, as well as inaccurate rumors and leaks.
At the time of posting, Bethesda has not commented on any of the above information, and probably will not. So far, he has not commented on any rumors regarding The Elder Scrolls 6, and it’s hard to imagine changing that now.
