A man fired his pistol at a crowd on the outskirts of a bar in Philadelphia, injuring seven people, four of them seriously, police said Saturday. The man was wanted by authorities.
Friday night’s shooting followed a dispute inside the Golf & Social bar, television stations reported.
Security video showed the gunman firing at a crowd gathered next to a bar on bustling Delaware Avenue, north of downtown Philadelphia and in front of a casino.
Police arrived in the area and found two victims in a grocery store and two more at the bar, authorities said. Three were taken to hospital in a private vehicle.
Police found 21 caps and several projectiles in the block.
Security video showed several people around an SUV and a white sedan in the casino parking lot on the other side of the avenue, authorities said. People left the place in a gray sedan.
Police said they later discovered two guns in the SUV and that the white sedan had been reported stolen.
Four men, aged 42, 23, 21 and 18, were seriously injured, police added. A 21-year-old man and two 17-year-olds were in stable condition.
There were no arrests on Saturday, police said, despite previous reports that someone had been arrested.
