On social media the The Houston Police Department said it will investigate a case related to the quarterback of the Houston Texans, Deshaun Watson.
It would be the first criminal action against Watson, facing 21 civil lawsuits for sexual assault and misconduct, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee.
“Today, a complainant filed a report with the Houston Police Department against DeShaun Watnon. As with any allegation, the Houston Police Department is conducting an investigation and will not comment on anything during the investigation process. “.

The Texans player’s lawyer issued a statement in which they celebrate that, for the first time, they will be able to know who one of the plaintiffs is.
“We welcome this process. We will now know the identity of at least one plaintiff. We will cooperate fully with the Houston Police Department.”
Statement by Deshaun Watson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, on the presentation of a police report today on Watson: “We welcome this long-awaited development. We will now know the identity of at least one accuser. We will cooperate fully with the Houston Police Department. “

Nick Caserio, general manager of the Houston Texans, said the demands for alleged sexual assault and inappropriate conduct against DeShaun Watson are “certainly worrying” and they are something the team takes “very seriously”.
“We’re certainly aware and we’re on the lookout,” Caserio said in the podcast Full access to jeans. “We issue a statement at the beginning about the position of the organization. I would say it’s a legal situation, a legal process, so we’re respectful of that.
“We certainly take them very seriously. The allegations, which have been discussed, are certainly worrying and organizationally, these actions are not something we can forgive, we allow,” he added.
Caserio’s comments on Watson’s situation are the first made by a member of the Texans. New head coach David Culley has not spoken to the media since the first lawsuit was filed on March 16th. The team has issued two statements and in one said it would keep in touch with the NFL during the league’s investigation under the personal conduct policy.
In early March, Buzbee said he would file affidavits and evidence from several women at the Houston Police Department and the city prosecutor. He has also indicated that he will ask a grand jury to consider the evidence and determine whether the charges deserve the state of Texas to file a case against Watson.
Dane Schiller, a spokeswoman for the Harris County prosecutor, said last week that it would be “inappropriate” for the prosecutor’s office to comment on the lawsuits against the pin.
